Are you a seasoned accounting professional ready to take the lead in a dynamic, international environment? TMF Group is looking for a Senior Accounting Officer to join our Global Entity Management team in Amsterdam. In this pivotal role, you’ll be the go-to expert for financial, accounting, and tax matters for our high-profile clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary financial contact for high-risk and high-demand clients.
- Collaborate closely with Legal Officers and supervise medior and junior team members.
- Deliver tailored financial and administrative support, including:
- Preparing (consolidated) financial statements and reports.
- Managing computerized administrations and financial databases.
- Handling tax filings, audits, and regulatory reporting.
- Build strong relationships with clients, advisors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
- Act as a coach and mentor within your team, promoting operational excellence.
- Support process optimization and act as a backup to the Supervisor Accounting.
Key Requirements
- A financial-administrative degree (e.g., ACCA, CPA, HEAO AA/BE) or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of Dutch GAAP and IFRS (experience with US GAAP is a plus).
- Proficiency in SAP, CaseWare, and Dynamics.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- A proactive, client-focused mindset with a passion for compliance and quality.
